Manchester School of Art is home to staff from a wide range of disciplines, who are research active and experts in their chosen areas.

Whilst every member of staff has their own unique specialist area of expertise, they also enjoy well-established links to the wider creative industries in Manchester and with an international network of art professionals and organisations.

An experienced team of technicians, dedicated to the Manchester School of Art, manage the studios, workshops and digital suites and are on-hand to provide support and assistance.

All staff at Manchester School of Art are practicing professionals and researchers in their fields, either as creative artists and designers, or through theoretical approaches to their subject.

Most staff belong to at least one Research Group within the Manchester School of Art Research Centre, and many regularly work with external companies and organisations or carry out funded research or projects.

Arts for Health, the UK's longest established arts and health organisation, is also based within the School.
