Learning and understanding through the manipulation of materials is a simple but
deeply important reason for doing my work. Through this exploration I create innovative
three-dimensional pieces that are aesthetically pleasing and highly tactile.
My work ranges in size from hand held to large scale.

I am inspired by natural form and the oppressive tendency of modern society.
Recent themes I have been dealing with include the juxtaposition of soft and hard,
distorted body image and life cycles.
