As a textile artist I am passionate about creating painterly fabric and wall pieces of varying scale.
The textile pieces are interpretations of drawings and paintings,
which are a very important part of the work.
A
love of colour and texture has led to using interesting combinations of
materials.
The ability to blend colours by layering, stitching and cutting through
layers
of fabrics in order to create a textured, painterly surface.
Each
piece of work is individual. I develop singular and consecutive
pieces of work suitable for interior spaces and for exhibition.
I am able to work to commission.
