Victoria Hall Chief Study: Printed Textiles 

The prime motivating factor for my final major project was investigating how yarns and fabrics could be manipulated. Colour became the key to creating more individuality and mood in my designs. I am engrossed in, for example, the bright colours of littered streets in China Town, this gives an image of a busy, working, lively, colourful place.

My work is an abstract account, I looked towards other disciplines such as packaging and architecture for inspiration. I was particularly interested in how typography is used within these disciplines.
