Helen Davies Chief Study: Printed Textiles 

My concept for the development of this project has been urban life. I have used photography as a starting point then explored the idea of capturing a snap shot of time from the bustle of the city and freezing it within a textile.

Umbrellas are my end use because my aim was to design a unisex accessory that fitted the city and camouflaged against the city backdrop.
