Emma Butler Chief Study: Printed Textiles 

 I am excited by the visual reality my eyes encounter everyday. My work derives from these observations of the natural world which is inexhaustibly interesting and rewarding.

I am concerned with the space that fills my eyes as I move around and "read" and arrange the world.

My wish is to capture the spontaneity and bustle of life by a process of unashamedly colourful and allegorical image making that manages to be at once realistic and decorative.
