Catherine Linley Chief Study: Printed Textiles 

My inspiration primarily involved investigating ornamental detail. I have been influenced by 'Old' textiles such as lace and trimmings focusing on pattern, structure edging and decorative detail with the intention of achieving fusion of the old with the new.

I have produced fabrics for the contemporary interior with special one-off pieces and a paper design collection.
