Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM)
The CAM Suite is located in Chatham Room 24. The machines in this room manufacture items from computer drawings.
Equipment in this room includes:
- CNC Router
- Bureau Laser Cutter
- Self-Service Laser Cutter
- PC Workstations for downloading and setting-up work
Each type of machine in the suite uses a different technique to manufacture products and needs the computer drawing to be in the appropriate drawing format for it to work. Please refer to the documentation on the Intranet for more information.
