Digital Printing

All student printing at the Manchester School of Art is controlled through the University printer payment system.

For all help with printing, please contact the IT Helpline.

Wide Format Printing

At the Manchester School of Art you have the facility to print out larger sized documents and images on our specialist Wide Format Printers (WFP).

The WFPs are located in the new Benzie Building and Chatham Tower:

Wide Format Colour x2
Wide Format Glossy

Wide Format Colour x3
Wide Format Mono
Wide Format Tracing

Wide Format Printing is a self-service system. You can print from any nearby PC or Mac, then use the release station next to the printer to release your job.

To avoid unnecessary and costly mistakes please read carefully the guides or watch the video podcasts on the IT Services web site before printing.

A4 / A3 Printing

A4 and A3 printing is also available in all University buildings. When you login to any University PC or Mac you will see the following two print devices listed:

  • MMUPrint-Mono
  • MMUPrint-Colour

Jobs sent to these printers can be printed out at any available Multi-Function Device (MFD) in the University.

MFDs are available on all floors of the Benzie Building and Chatham Tower. MFDs are also located in Grosvenor

Most of the devices are capable of mono and colour printing, on A4 or A3 paper, as well as scanning and photocopying.

You can send your document to print on a multifunctional printer from anywhere by emailing the file to print@mmu.ac.uk from your University email address.
