Computer Suites

The 3D Suite in the Chatham building has digital modelling and visualisation software.

The computer equipment and cameras in the Animation Capture Suite can be used to create stop motion animations.

The Apple Mac suite in the Chatham building offers a range of software applications covering page layout, web design, low-level video editing and image editing and capture via high resolution scanners.

There are a number of PC computer suites in the Chatham and Cavendish buildings that provide access to specialist computer-aided design applications, such as AutoCAD, Viz and SketchUp.

The PC Dropin in Chatham 105 is open to all university students and staff. As well as the standard university office and communication applications, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver are also available.

The Edit Suites provide post-production video editing facilities using Final Cut Pro and sound editing tools.

Digital Printing

Users of the faculty's PC computer suites can print directly to the self-service A4, A3 and large format printers located in the Chatham Print Room.

The Digital Bureau in Chatham provides a high quality large format digital printing service.

The textile digital printing suite situated in the Cavendish building enables scanned original art work and digitally created images to be printed directly onto a range of fabrics.

A range of printing services, including printing up to A0, are also available in the John Dalton Building, located in workshop W10.

Campus ICTS

The Campus ICTS Team provide IT & AV support for the faculty and manage the PC computer suites, print room and servers.
