I am currently experimenting, based upon some findings from my Leonardo Project, with a double spiral brushstroke and the movement of water (hence a lot of watercolours). I Chair the Steering Committee for this Research. In 1998, I directed (in collaboration with FACT, Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, and Liverpool John Moore's University) what remains the UK's largest event exploring art and new technology, ISEA98, the ninth International Symposium on Electronic Art. Manchester's Tilted Windmills
This was a millennium project for Exchange Square in Manchester, the site of the IRA bombing. After winning a competitive bid to design a Public Art piece for the newly built square, designed by Boston-based architect, Martha Schwartz, I installed five, ten-metre high, stainless steel motorised double windmill sculptures that can still be seen on site. Music and Health
Arts for Health, within MIRIAD, has been involved in a collaborative music exchange programme with Dublin and Paris, putting musicians into hopitals in three countries. This year we held a European Seminar, July 3, 4, and 5, 2006 at the Maison de la Radio

The Asia Triennial
