Hong, Dong-Sik's Exhibition

RIBA Hub, 16 - 20 July 2012

Joe McCullagh, Head of Design, is pleased to present on behalf of the Manchester School of Art, graphic work on show at the Manchester RIBA Hub by graphic design professor Hong, Dong-Sik from Busan in South Korea.

The exhibition opens on the afternoon of Monday 16th July. Professor Hong says of his graphic works "I've tried to capture the lifestyles of Busan people who I meet in traditional markets. In traditional markets, which have fascinated me, I can hear a variety of voices. The voices never fail to be heard when I visualize any scene of the markets. They still talk in my artworks; they appear as frozen sounds."
