Current work concerns observation of people and the development of characters.
This subject matter enables me to use humour, stories and emotions.

Through the observation of people I use imagination to develop my own ‘characters’.
These characters sit together to work as imagery that has a narrative.

I then put the characters back into the situations from which they originally came,
for example; bus ticket drawings are put back into the bus station.
Therefore the work takes on a new context, and more work can be
explored through the interaction of the art in the public environment.

From the work overall I envisage it developing into illustration/animation
careers where I can use the practical skills learnt in embroidery together
with the ability to draw and develop characters.
