There will be time for you to have a good look round the school of Art to meet other students and to ask questions.
The interview will be conducted by a member of staff and a current student, it will be informal and a chance to find out something about you and your requirements and interest areas. You will be notified by post of the outcome.

Who will teach me?
You will be assigned an overarching programme tutor, who will be responsible for your pastoral support and much of your academic guidance. You will also meet staff who teach you in the Contextual Studies units who may be different from the practice staff.
Where will I be based?
You will have different bases according to the unit you are studying, however there will be a consistent base room for tutorial support throughout the year.
During the specialist units you will be based in the workshops and studios home to that discipline. Your programme tutor will have contact with you weekly and will ensure you know exactly where you are located each week.
What happens if I want to move in to full time study
The programme is designed to help you move between modes of study and if you want to change to full time this can be negotiated, subject to a place being available on the fulltime programme and you passing the units at the current stage.

At the end of each unit of study you will be assessed on the outcomes listed in the unit outline and you will receive feedback on the assessment so you know how you are doing. Full information will be given to you and explained at induction.
