Bethan Lloyd Worthington
Artist
Graduated 2006
I work spontaneously, sometimes from an initial sketch but often from memory or imagination. The inspiration for my work comes from a plethora of sources, whatever is bothering me at the time is fair game. This has led to work based around calorific guilt, peculiar birds I've never laid eyes on, corporate image v corporate evils and joyously accessorised rural creatures. I work predominantly with slip-cast earthenware in familiar, domestic forms. I enjoy the tension between a simple, accessible object and my unruly, illustrative drawings.Contact details
