We pride ourselves on helping our graduates put well conceived viable products into the marketplace. It is heartening to find that our graduates gain recognition at a national and international level.
Richard Sweeney won the New Designers DKNY award in 2006 and the New Designers Swarovski award in 2007. He has been artist in residence at the Design Museum with an installation in the tank outside the museum in London.
Jon Lawrence has been selected for and exhibited at The Hub, Lincolnshire; The V&A Crafts Council selection showcase at Collect, V&A, London, Feb 2008; Ceramic Art London, RCA, March 2008; Origin, Somerset House, London Oct 2008.
Ian McIntyre sells work through Kelly Hoppen in London, and has exhibited at 100% Design 2007. He will also be starting an MA at the RCA in Sept 2008.
Bethan Lloyd Worthington will be starting an MA at the RCA in Sept 2008. She has had numerous exhibitions, including Origin 2007, UK Craft & Design - The Peel Gallery, Houston, Texas, September 2007; Mint, 70 Wigmore St, London, June 2007 ongoing; The Devils in the Detail The Hub Gallery, Lincolnshire. Solo stairwell showcase, March 2007; Leeds Craft & Design Centre, Spring 2007. She has also won New Designers Contemporary Applied Arts Award 2006, The Craft Pottery Charitable Trust travel bursary 2006 and the H.J. Berry award for Best Concept 2004. She has been featured in many magazines including a 4 page article in Crafts Magazine in 2007.
Jason Chart Davies won the Gold award in Fashion Jewellery in the Goldsmiths Craftsmanship Awards 2008. He also exhibited in Norway in April 2008.
Tiffany Rawson has recieved awards from Concept for Living Magazine and Urbis for her graduate show.
