International
Manchester is a truly international European city, with a large and diverse population with origins in many parts of the world. And from a total student population of 80,000, around 10,000 are international students, creating an attractive environment to study art, design and architecture.
There is a range of cultural institutions in the city focussed on the wider picture, from the Instituto Cervantes for the Hispanic countries to the Chinese Arts Centre. And the city’s galleries and museums show artists and designers from all over the world.
MMU Faculty of Art and Design welcomes international students and the special perspective they bring to creative arts and design practice.
